I caught up with Murray Lyons, captain of the Gryphon Racing team last Wednesday, and he expressed a sincere need for sponsorship coordination, $16,200 in all. The money could come in either parts or actual donations.
It is expected that we have next to nothing in terms of sponsorship dollars right now but we do know that Linamar is our biggest sponsor.
I am about to look into the Gryphon Racing Database and find some more information before putting together a sponsorship package as quickly as possible, while comparing our sponsorship package to one that I know was put together by a friend of mine for a robotics challenge.
Having been unable to find the Gryphon Racing Team Meeting last Tuesday, I will finally be able to meet the entire team Tuesday Night now that I know exactly where the team meets!
We're just getting underway and hope to have something of substansial value before the end of the month.
